Senior Design - 5-Axis 3D Printer

For my senior design project, my team and I developed a 5-axis 3D printer that advances beyond the limitations of traditional 3-axis systems. The additional axes enable greater freedom in layer orientation, improved surface finish, and the ability to print complex geometries. Through a series of experiments and comparative analyses, our team demonstrated the enhanced precision, structural integrity, and unique layering capabilities achievable with a 5-axis system.
