Elbee Racing - SAE Baja

Being part of SAE Baja at CSU Long Beach was one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career. I am forever grateful for the opportunity and for the teammates who turned long nights in the shop into lasting friendships. The challenges we faced together taught me lessons in persistence, creativity, and collaboration that shaped me both as an engineer and as a young adult.

During the 2024 program, I served as Chassis & Ergonomics Lead and Team Secretary, taking on both technical and organizational responsibilities. I led the design, development, and fabrication of our 4WD chassis and driver ergonomics package, pushing through countless iterations to balance performance, safety, and manufacturability. Seeing our vehicle compete at the 2024 Baja SAE Competition in Gorman, CA was a proud moment—not just for me, but for everyone who poured their effort into making it possible.

Outside of engineering, I worked to keep the team running smoothly. As Secretary, I scheduled meetings, coordinated communication, and helped secure funding from the school board and external sponsors. I also organized and hosted fabrication workshops, where I had the chance to mentor teammates and pass on the skills I had developed. Those moments of teaching and collaboration were just as meaningful as the engineering milestones, and they strengthened the foundation of the team for years to come.
